Our low temperature batch and continuous drying system is designed to dry sludge produced by either a plate and frame filter press, a belt filter press, a centrifuge or some similar device. The sludge cake is dried by the injection of recycled, warm, dry air. The saturated air which comes off the top of the sludge container is passed over refrigerated coils, where the moisture is removed, and then reheated prior to injection into the container. That closed loop drying process eliminates emissions to the air and the burden of EPA air permits.
